Circa 1906 Waterbury Clock Movement
This movement came from a Waterbury "HERON" wall clock
May fit other Waterbury wall clocks with a similar size of case so please check all critical measurements against your old one.
If your serious about replacing your worn movement with a high quality rebuilt movement consider one of ours. Every pivot, lever and tooth is inspected for defects and repaired or replaced if needed providing you with a movement as close to factory new as you can find anywhere.
Our movements are simply the best rebuilt movements you will find anywhere period! We take NO shortcuts on the overhaul process and have a extensive used parts inventory should a defective part have to be replaced.
The Waterbury time and strike movement pictured was just rebuilt by us and shows where new Bergeon bronze bushings where installed, see picture with the red circles.
Prior to installing new Begeon bronze bushing all pivots where polished using a Rollimat pivot polisher, a tool specifically designed for polishing pivots of all the defects. When finished every pivot is perfectly round again and has a mirror like finish, a thing of beauty.
We then assemble and test the movement for at least one week prior to oiling the pivots with the best synthetic clock oil. We have always tested our movements without oil for at least a week so not to hide and potential binding problems.
Your newly overhauled movement will provide many years of dependable service, all you have to do is wind it up and enjoy.
